High Intensity Supports

High-Intensity Supports are where specialized, more skilled, or more experienced support workers may be required to deliver support to some participants who need it. The high intensity daily personal activities that 111Care can help you with include but are not limited to
  • Complex Bowel Care
  • Enteral Feeding and Management
  • Severe Dysphagia Management
  • Tracheostomy Care
  • Urinary Catheters
  • Complex Tracheotomy Care
  • A Ventilator
  • Complex Wound Management
  • Managing Diabetes
  • Assistance with daily personal activities

    Daily personal care supports relate to assistance with daily personal activities including assistance with, or supervision of, personal tasks of daily life. Our services are not limited but include :

    • Personal hygiene, including showering, bathing, oral hygiene, dressing and grooming.
    • Toileting, bladder and bowel management and menstrual care.
    • Eating and drinking.
    • Attending appointments.
    • Use of aids and appliances, hearing, and communication devices.
    • mobility and transferring, for example moving in and out of bed and on or off the toilet; or
    • Application of splints, and basic first aid due to injuries sustained because of a participant’s disability.

    Personal care support may be required across a variety of settings. For example, a participant living alone in their own home, living with family or other people, when undertaking social, recreational, education, or employment activities, or during holidays away from home

    Household Tasks

    Depending on the kind of disability one possesses, people find it difficult to engage in daily chores and perform activities around their homes. Things as simple as cooking and cleaning can become a hassle sometimes. If a person’s disability is preventing them from doing the chores efficiently, it is likely that the NDIS support plan will include services for Household Tasks. 111Care can help participants in a variety of tasks such as:
  • vacuuming and mopping floors
  • dusting and wiping surfaces
  • kitchen cleaning including sinks, taps, benches, microwaves
  • bathrooms including toilets, showers, and baths
  • Gardening,
  • Backyard cleaning,
  • Garbage disposal, and other permissible household tasks under the individual’s support plan
